Neither. I don't think that humanity naturally has pride and greed hardwired into us. Pride is an over-abundance of self-confidence, and greed is misapplication of desire and control.

Biologically speaking, yes. The reason men love sex so much is because it's one of our baser, inherent instincts.

No. If women were in their primal state of instinct, all they'd care about is reproducing and caring for young. Civilization and other factors (such as the concept of monogamy), can make women competitive with each other.

No. I believe we're just highly developed creatures, all with the opprotunity to go down good or bad paths.
