About a year ago, I got a metal splinter whilst at my cleaning job. I tried to get it out but couldn't, so I thought I'd put a plaster over it in the meantime. Unfortunately I left the tap running and flooded the cleaning closet, and spent half my shift cleaning up the mess I had made.

I had to suffer on my bike home, trying not to grip the handlebars, and I yanked it out with tweezers the second I got home.

Two weeks later, I quit my job.
