As long as you can support them and give them the affection and attention they require, there's no reason why a couple shouldn't be able to have as many children as they please. Somehow I doubt that you can manage that with eighteen kids, though. I'm sure these children have good lives, but it's impossible to divide your time between eighteen siblings and not have some of them lose out.
