The only real fun I got out of the sims, would be killing my people.
You know, like putting 4 firework launchers in a small room, taking away the door then setting them off.
Or telling them to jump off the diving board into a pool with no ladder.
If the movie doesn't have like.. alot of random pointless death, then it won't be worth it. =[
I can't tell if that's a practical joke or not... I just can't see how the concept can be adapted into a movie. I suppose they could give it elements of mystery/suspense/horror/surreality, like when the Sims wake up to find that all their toilets have been deleted... or will it be about their gradual awakening, as they realise that they're merely players in someone else's game?
No matter how they approach it, it's sure to be odd. It'll be interesting to see where they go with this.
omg simtalk!!(liek all the way through the film lol)
i dunno it depends how random it is! you cant make like your normal comedys its just gotta be stupid! all the way through
i havent played sims since simcity so this holds no interest in me
I like chocolate!! No matter what flavor you get, you can always taste the broken dreams!
~Dead people should stay dead, otherwise whats the point of killing them???
I've pondered on this before (this is old news within The Sims nerd community), but I still don't get it. The Sims 2 is supposed to be a life simulator, so... the movie is going to be about life? About nothing? They're going to buy a new stove and burn the lobster thermador? They're going to have a baby while standing in the bathroom?
Makes no sense to me.
I have ti say this will prolly suck unless its all in sim talk with subtitles

I think I might be the only person that thinks it's a brilliant idea, and could turn out to be a great comedy if it's done right. Combine Frank Oz's Stepford Wives with The Sims commercials and you've got your sim movie. To most people that sounds retarded, but to me it's a hoot.
I'm confused, but it'll be intriguing to see what they decide to do with this. A couple of D's ideas sound like they'd be good fun, and there's a good chance I'll go and see a Sims movie if it's as refreshingly weird as that.
"The most important and recognize player in the history of the country."
Sometimes I wonder what my life would be like if I were as great as Paulo Wanchope.
Well... you can kill off your sims...
But if they did that it will be like SAW o_o;;; (*hates*)
I wonder if the script will be all "Habablaba... dah? Hahaha~ Sicohabe?"
