I think we should have a specific date for the end of the voting, to avoid unfair cases.

For example: day X : end of the poll; if there isn't enough votes: day X.

Yep I was wondering that! Oh well I don't know we have a tie now! And we didn't have a tie voting for a long time :so that complicates things a little bit! OK hmmmmmm the poll will end next tuesday! ^^ It gives time to untie the poll!
