Hey! I'm a bit of a watcher myself. Watched my brother-on-law play all the way through Resident Evil 4. I agree, more into the plot and artwork than the game play.
Except for Twilight Princess. I was into everything when I played that one. Hotness.
Welcome!
Watching action games or something like MGS doesn't bother me but I can't watch people play RPG's, it does my head in. Especially if it is one I have played a few times myself. Watching J play FFVII was the worst thing ever 'cause of the retarded system I have developed on that game. I have everything set up perfectly for each character, materia, weapons etc and he was DOING IT ALL WRONG. And then he kept going into battle without healing himself first and leaving the healing until he was in critical already and not bothering with buffs or anything and oh my god I wanted to tear the pad out of his hands and do it properly. It's like OCD or something god damn it help me
O.o
That's a longish username... Welcome nonetheless.
I'll take the squishy bear hugs. And some desire. And maybe some applesauce
Then we can be friends
Hi
(I'm not young. Beware)
>_>
<_<
I do because I'm not a wussy.I mean seriously what the hell, going into fights without full health? What's that about?
...
Normally I do something horrible right now that would scar you for life.. as a ritual of passage..
But ive been pretty tired lately, so I'll just say hey.

I watch because if I'm not playing I don't have to think about how much I suck. I was reminded of this fact when the other day I was playing the Legend of Zelda: Orcana of Time and I couldn't run straight. I kept running off the ledges.
Also, I think it's worse if you've played the game, but I just always root for the person. It's like a movie, only better because there's a chance of them dying.
I always watch my brother and nephew play. I just act as a second set of eyes. Though I'm better at playing than either of them. I don't mind watching them mess up. I keep my patience in check. Its actually amusing watching people mess up xD but I do that the same way I do... conversations with stupid people. Keeping my intellect low-key'ed. People don't like it when you're better. So its not so bad that you just watch. You just need gamer training. Get your wrist guards funyuns and mt dew, and meet me in the lobby. Classes start in an hour
