I'm actually wanting to change it to Aspernatio as well since I also think it sounds cool. I'm kind of reluctant to since it means contempt in Latin and people will think of me as some angry psycho because of it (if they somehow know Latin). Yeah, I actually learned that out of curiousity on an online Latin dictionary a long time ago and I've liked it for its cool sounding-ness ever since.

It's kind of strange that you're saying that. That's exactly what my friend said about all the names I made up before I came up with the name Evastio back when we were young. I guess him and you guys do have a point so I might keep my old name.

No matter what you choose, you will get nicknames. You shouldn't look at them as derogative, instead just think "Hmm. These people seem to be comfortable enough with me to give me a nickname." Or, you can nickname them back, that always works.

I guess so. But as I said before I've learned to hate nicknames because of people making fun of my real name.

Yeah, I'm going to miss that too (which is why I'm quite reluctant about getting a name change). Aspernatio is a much darker name though so it isn't all bad.
