I'm perfectly happy with the dental treatment I've gotteds off the NHS. I had a brace on my top teeth to straighten out crowding, worked perfectly, I'm getting one on my bottom teeth to move a single rogue tooth forward. He's just shy, he's hiding behind all the others.

I probably could've used braces on my bottom teeth, but my upper teeth are so beautiful that they dazzled anyone who wanted to consider putting any on.

Yeah, exactly my point. What Brits thinks is excessive (eg. braces for very minor corrections, whitening, etc.) is perfectly normal to Americans. That's part of the reason for the stereotype; standards are different.
