Tommy was the best, and has also returned repeatedly throughout the series. During Wild Force, there was a 15th anniversary episode with every former Red Ranger, it was pretty cool. They brought him back as the Black Ranger for Dino Thunder, which pissed me off, he still could have been the Red Zeo Ranger, but he wasn't, it was stupid.
He was by far the best Power Ranger. Why? Let's look at his track record:
- He dated Kimberly.
- He dated the other Pink Ranger. Kat?
- He was the Green Ranger.
- He was the White Ranger.
- He led the Power Rangers as the White Ranger, totally stealing the show from the Red Ranger.
- He led the Power Rangers as the Red Ranger, totally blowing my mind as Zeo Red.
- His hair was beautiful until he cut it.
- He single handedly brought back all of the Red Rangers for one super cool, ultimate ass kicking thing.
- He became the Black Ranger and had a cool dinosaur stick.
- He was a professor of something.
- He has the Dragon Zord and dragons are the best.
- He had the White Tiger Zord which is the second best.
- So the bird thing wasn't the coolest ever, but if it wasn't for him, that Zord wouldn't have had a been able to fly.
- Dudes, a professor in paleontology.
Power Rangers or not, Bulk and Skull were the best.
I had a huge crush on the pink ranger Kimberly. Other than that Tommy the green/white/whatever ranger was too cool for school.. plus he had long hair
Out of the originals, Jason. Overall, TJ from Turbo and In Space.
I've always, always hated Tommy and Kimberly. Even when I was little.

I always found it amusing that the black ranger was black, the yellow ranger was Asian, and they were the only two members that didn't have dinosaurs... they had mammals...

As for my favourite, hmm when I was a kid I fancied Kimberly the pink ranger so much it's quite sad. I got too old to watch Power Rangers after the first season, I prefer my martial arts fights to look a lot more realistic than that.

I think the Pink Ranger was the reason why I got into Gymnastics. She was my *~ H e r o ~*. But whenever we played Power Rangers at school, I was always the Yellow Ranger. =/
