I got over a thousand and stopped skipping immidiantly, it was really frustrating but im glad i did it
I can only do it one disc 1 though, i think the view is much easier than in the steeple

FFIX had by the far the most boring, repititive and infuriating sidequests of them all apart from FFXII...I've reached about 220 jumps. The only reason I'd even try get 1000 is if I was going for a perfect game and wanted the King of the Jump Rope key item. But yeah....i doubt it.

What's your highest score? I only got 216. I read someone got 9999. And on YouTube I saw someone got 1000. I can't seem to do it.. :S It's a bit like FFX skipping through the thunderbolts 200 times to get some celestrial weapon. I think that was easier than the skipping rope challenge.
