Client-side edits are somewhat interesting... since you can make a clay golem or any other summon and/or mercenary another graphic, such as Izual, Diablo, or a mouse.

An announcement from your friendly Brother Laz.
The censored word is "realm." Apparently, the facade of justice has been served on the realms. The DII forums are going nuts. The recent account ban wave that hit the ***** specifically targetted D2Loader users. As a result, using D2Loader is again a bannable offence because Blizzard considers it an illegal application.
Remember ignorance of the Forum ToS is not an excuse.
Ja, I noticed in other sites that people were being raped by Warden once more becoming a roaming justice.
It made me heckle.
Oh, and on a semi-related note, I talked with a man on the phone today (the man in charge of my internet being as it is), and I happened to mention Diablo II, and his response was thus:
"I remember that game - it made me spend way too much time on it. Lost my wife because of it..."
Lawl, and wtf? why are you telling me this?
...
I don't believe that any of the worldhack programs use D2Loader. If they are, then, they're doing it wrong because C++ sucks.
xD
That dude lost his wife to this game.
Ah smurf...
I didn't think to realize that Warden would also be looking for edited versions of d2gfx.dll (to allow mutliple instances of Diablo II without some weird hack)...
Now all my keys are banned...
Oh well, Median is more fun anyway, especially since XL was recently released.
...
Yeah, that tends to be how things work. It'll be a matter of time before they turn off Warden again, though. I believe that they were sweeping for Baalbots in this instance of bans after D2Loader.
You would think that after all of this time, my keys would get banned, too. Fortunately for me, however, I am permanently barred from playing Diablo II online; I had to uninstall, and then reinstall just so I could backpatch to 1.10, for which I could find no other cure to get from 1.12 to 1.10. Now, I can play Dark Alliance, Median, and not have to worry about half of the programming flaws that were introduced into Diablo II with 1.11 (from a technical perspective).
What have you been doing in XL, Nom? I myself have made a 120 Javazon, who can get through most of the little uberquests (Butcher, Creature of Flame, K3KBA, Island of the Sunless Sea, Infernal Machine, and Death Projector). My next builds, I was looking for a Summoner Barbarian and Crucify Assassin, but they are still at level 33. I might have to resort to a SorcDruid again for the rest of the uberquests; it was the only way I could do most of the uberquests last time.
I just started, but I've been playing it as a Necromancer that hops around everywhere using Angel of Death. It's a very safe build, but not very fast about killing monsters - have to do it one at a time basically. Going through on /players8, I've yet to die. On my way to Andarial at the moment.

Patch #?
1.10
EDIT: smurf it, I'm tired of getting an UHANDLEDEXCEPTION everytime I try to do anything.
Diablo is now wiped off my system. Good riddance.
