Also, Warmech is comparatively small and has puny legs. REX is just the more practical death-mobile. With a laser penis.

Warmech is resistant to all elements and has high defense so he'd obviously win.
REX doesn't use elemental attacks, and is covered in armour that can't be damaged by anything weaker than anti-tank munitions... While REX can be beaten by one man with a Stinger launcher, Warmech can be dismantled with swords and hammers.
Swords made from ADAMANT, harder than any metal found on missiles!
