I have a fan IRL. His name is Paul. He rules.

Paul hears about my antics and I don't spend enough time with him to do anything fun, but he's always lauding my nonsense. Anyway, and I'm sharing something weird here, but I used to do cocaine. Paul finds out about this and is all 'zomg Mike I'm going to get you some cocaine when i visit you' (this said facetiously of course), to which I continue the facetiousness by asking for 40 kilos of the stuff.

Anyway, this normally takes place in the privacy of...real life. However thanks to Facebook for the second time Paul announces this to me. So in the midst of calling Joy an asian and telling Alice that my computer vanished off the face of the earth this happens.

Do your friends ever say silly things that incriminate you or ruin your persona in front of other people? What do you do about it? In my case, I'm going to enjoy any lulz I get out of it, which typically is none =(

I suspect people use wall-to-wall and don't actually read my wall notes.

I interact with my online friends on facebook, ironically. And my irl friends on myspace. I haven't ran into that problem, then again I don't try to have a certain persona.
