I don't really care if FFXIII is short, just as long as you get to walk in more then one direction every so often. The FFX/Xenosaga approach to gameplay doesn't really fly with me anymore.

As for FFXIII having too many sidequests, I doubt the majority of people actually view that as a significant issue.
