OH NOES!

My internet went bleh after a lightning storm last night. Then I woke up this morning and NO POWER. I actually ventured outside. It was... scary, to say the least. I had to come to my sisters house to get interweb.

ANYWHO, what do you guys do when you don't have internet, power, and you don't have to go to school or work?

It's only ever happened once, I woke up for school and tried to put on the light and nothing happened. Luckily it came back in time for me to straighten my hair

I went outside and BBQ'd it was yummy.

Play DS/PSP. If there's enough light to read, I'll probably do that. My laptop as an hour or so battery life so I could watch a couple of episodes of anime or get work done (yeah right xD)

You must have an ancient fridge. Most fridges nowadays have a system implemented in them so they keep cold stuff cold for up to 24 hours or something like that after a power outage. Of course, the more you open it, the less time it keeps. Most food should not be getting lukewarm until at least a day and a half. At least, that's how every single fridge I have ever had has been.

During power outages I either sleep, read a book, or play hide-and-go-seek in the dark.

A few weeks ago the power in my house went off, but only half of the house. It was weird!

It was late, so I went to bed. Otherwise I would have used the internet elsewhere in the house.

I usually sleep/play DS/eat.

I usually keep my laptop plugged in, so it's always at full power. This means I have anywhere from 2 to 4 and a half hours of anime or shmups to keep me entertained.
