dude, the threadstarter pointed out how almost every main character's story orientation paralleled that to the main characters in star wars.

Aside from the fact that both are floating and both involved in some kind of mining, Bhujerba and Cloud City are completely dissimilar.
Bhujerba tries its best to remain neutral, uneasily allows the empire to enter, then takes charge for the rebels at the end.

I was calling this early on, too, at this point of its circulation, it's obviously more than just similarities. The executive producer for FFXII was the director of FFII, a game which had the most, or the only one with, star wars similarities than any of the original FF's (I-IV)
