For Sunday, most stores are normal hours, some stores close at 6. I think the only thing that doesn't open on Sundays here is like, the library. Even my bank is opened for most of Sunday.

probably true around here too, I only know of the hours of a couple of places..one of which isn't even open for business anymore D= so yeah.

The trade unions resist all efforts to allow shops to open longer (whether on Sundays or otherwise) because they think workers will be forced to work longer. Seriously.

Are you serious? xD You fruity European countries. That's almost as bad as Italy, where the shops close in the afternoon so people can nap.

Some places stay open later - off licenses and petrol stations and 24 hour stores, but that's about it.
