^You can. Nomura said that the heroes would be easier to use and control though, whereas the villains would be for more experienced players. Something like that, anyway.

If im not wrong from that picture only ff8 and ff10 have characters originally designed by Nomura.
The Zidane picture is pretty neat, and now Im able to see how Nomura tries to emulate/adapt his style to the original Amano designs with the earlier games.

Kuja made watching that remotely worth my time. Otherwise, I'm really not interested. It is kind of neat to see old characters in 3-D, but they still look better as pixels if you ask me. Overall, I'd have to agree with:

^I think they said that if they put Seymour in, they would have to put Yuna in - and they didnt want her in it. They wanted someone with the best connection to Tidus, and that person was Jecht. Even though he isnt really a villain at all. More of a hero.

yeah thats what i figured. hes not a antagonist, he's just tidus's rival. also jecht was (SPOILER)sin so that makes scence.
