We don't have graduation for completing school here, just university - which I haven't started yet and as I'm going to do OU University instead of going to a brick uni I probably won't have a graduation.![]()

Ours was green for High School.
Black for the men, white for the ladies. That was high school, I'd expect college will be the same.
British schools don't celebrate graduation like the americans do. Our school colour was bottle green, so our gowns, if we had them, would probably have been the same.

Ready to let go
Ready for the crush
Too late for whispers
Too late for the blush
The past is mercy
When the future is aglow
Boring white. Most of the highschool here wore white. Very bland. Maybe the other schools had different colors. I don't know. All I ever remember was, white shirt, black pants, a tie, a white toga and mortarboard.
Navy blue gown and cap. The tassel was red, white, and blue. Not sure why white was thrown in, though.
For highschool I think boys and girls both wore dark blue but maybe the boys wore red. I can't remember. I remember when my sister graduated the girls wore red and the boys wore dark blue.
When I graduate in May 09, I will be wearing this:
