I didn't actually really talk to anyone from here consistently until about 2003 or 2004, then lost contact and now again within the last 6 months or so.

My 3 years was a few months back I believe. And I've come out of it with only a handful of mild acquaintances and just a couple people I'd consider a friend. Its like any community though. There's the clique. And if you don't have the right persoanlity to draw from, you're just a face in the crowd. Graned this community isn't at all elitist about it as most are. In fact most everyone is rather open and accepting. The cliques just happen of their own accord though. So make your own and find some people :]
