About the current-generation consoles... do they require that you have an internet connection, or is it realistically possible to enjoy them without access to downloadable content? That said, I fully intend to own a PS3 in due course - but before that, it'd be good to know whether I can actually use the damn thing without having to leave it hooked up to the net.
