The film was disappointing but the series was fantastic. Not seen it for a while actually. I'll have to try and find some episodes online.

Oh how I wish I still had Sky. Dave is a most excellent channel. As are all the UKTV channels actually. Thanks for the heads up anyway.

Is League of Gentlemen the show with the "Are you local?!" newsagents and that Dave? wow, I haven't seen that in forever
Also. On the subject of that channel called Dave, when it first appeared my Dad shouted me and my brother down, whilst he asked us if it was some joke that a channel was named after him. We just loled and called him a nub, he was actually being serious.
