Level Check

I am currently at the Stilshrine of Miriam and was wondering whether my levels are high enough. They are:

Vaan Lv.30
Balthier Lv.22
Fran Lv.23
Basch Lv.29
Ashe Lv.30
Penelo Lv.24

PS. I mainly use Vaan, Ashe and Basch

Yep, those levels will get you where you need to go. It'll be challenging, but not impossible, if you've got fairly good equipment and licenses. Is this your first time playing through the game?

Although you've got 3 good players, I would recommend training the others aswell.

I agree with Hartman. I must admit that in my current game, I've got three characters in the mid-60s and three in the low-30s, but I think FFXII is certainly akin to FFX in that it's advantageous to have other characters trained up. As you get to change your party once all your characters die it's handy to have some well trained back-ups who can hold their own in a fight or just make sure you can escape well enough.

As for the levels themselves, I think I was around about 33 myself, so you're about the right levels to get through the Stillshrine okay, though I certainly found it to be one of the most challenging dungeons.

Gosh this game was tough for me! I was doing great, then suddenly I get to the Leviathan and I'm underleveled! The second time around I powerleveled wherever I could, and I still had trouble with a couple of bosses S:

Made it to the point where I could do the level loop without getting totally stuck for a while anyway

You should def. be fine. Right now I just finished Sochen Cave Palace and I think Vaan is level 35 or so, and everyone else is like 29. When I did the Stilshrine I think Vaan was around like 27 or 28 and everyone else in the low 20's and I didn't find it really challenging

Recommended LVL is 30.... but you don't really need everone that high. im on my third go through now and i am in the same place as you lol.
