I'm a part-time sales at Clinton Cards. I have my own sections which I have to keep tidy and stocked up. I work on the till and deal with the phone, deliveries, orders and customers. It's ok, been there for about 10 months now. I think I need something new though.

I'm a photographer. Mostly weddings and children's portraits, but I want to get into more commercial work. Maybe dabble in fashion photography for awhile, but eventually get into photography work for movies (ie: publicity shots, movie stills, etc).

I love being a photographer, but it's a hard business to be in.

I work in a nightclub in Essex as a barmaid. If I'm on my favourite supervisors bar (which is also the busiest bar in the club), and with the people I am friendliest with at work then I absolutely love my job! We have a good laugh and its tons of fun.

Nope. I love my job. I'm a Programming Clerk for two senior homes and I love it. Straight computer work. I produce newsletters, brochures for the facilities, programs, and basically keep track of all resident's info for whoever needs it and keep them all updated. Whatever needs to be done that requires a computer to do, I do it. It's great! I love what I do and I even get paid for it.

I repair computers, mainly laptops. It's pretty easy to do, but we always have a high workload.

I get paid ok, something like $25 an hour, it's equivalent to $13 if I lived in the US, because of the high cost of living around here. I also pay almost 30% in taxes.

I used to work for Sainsbury's Supermarkets as an Entertainment and General Merchandise assistant. The pay sucked at £6.39 an hour (being that I'm now 22) I worked 16 hours a week as standard with them doing 0900 - 1800 on mondays and 0800 - 1700 on tuesdays.

Currently I work as a full time Entertainment and Related assistant in HMV's UK flagship store in Oxford Circus (Well it's more tottenham court road but we're called the oxford circus store) I love the job, the guys and girls I work with are really nice, my managers are totally chilled out and express genuine concern over you if you don't look well or have an issue (I was ,asked about a dozen times by my supervisor, assistant floor manager, general manager and any other supervisors in if I was ok friday because I had problems with my wisdom teeth causing me much pain) I also like that my ideas and suggestions are actually received openly and with real enthusiasm. HMV is in the top 3 retailers in terms of pay in the uk so my wages being in their main store are surprisingly high (even on probation it pays more than my old job) My shifts are all "lates" which means working from 1200 - 2030 every day (except thursdays when we close at 2100 I start half hour later and finish at the later time too) I work monday - friday and thus am often paid to see any live acts which might be in the store recently this has included:

The Jonas Brothers (they're crap, well irritating mostly but their screaming fan girls were funny since they'd offer anything for the idea that you'd get them to meet the band)
    Dirty Pretty Things
Seth Lakeman (not often I like folk but I have to admit he's great and he's a great guy I spoke to him for about 20 minutes earlier in the day, didn't even realize it was him)

Comming up we have Bowling for Soup in the store which should be pretty cool.

Overall I love it but if there is a downfall it's the T-shirts I hate working in clothing I quit a clothing store job and sometimes when theres loads for me to do in the T-shirts section of my dept I feel a little down and like I want to scream at people.

I work for what is probably the largest high school in the world, the U.S. Navy. Still, I love my job, and the travel makes it all worth it. I'm an IT, so I get to sit around until it's time to do preventative maintenance, or until something goes wrong.
Not to mention there's barely ever a day that goes by that something hilarious doesn't happen.

I do a little bit of everything with computers. Mostly I make websites and website backends for a living, but also database administration and programming in Java, Ruby, PHP and various UNIX scripting languages.

My job's pretty sweet. If I feel like working from home that's fine.

I just finished working as a teacher, which was a job that only lasted about three months because of some kids getting moved over from the kindergarten each year. It was a great job, and working with kids was so much fun. The things you hear everyday! xD

My boss at that job has spoken with my mom while I was away this week, and they apparently want me back next year for the same 3 months period, which is super neat! It's always nice to know that you're good at what you do.

Also, I work as a service assistant (not that kind of service! >:O) at the local sports centre. The job includes cleaning, being a clerk in the cafeteria (along with making some of the food) and general supervision. That job has only been part-time for the last 6 months or so, but I'm gonna work there full-time the next month and a half or so.. so that's nice.

EDIT: Oh, and I also do volunteer work at the local cinema.
