Aerosmith is awesome and anyone who says otherwise is a complete music n00b. Just wanted to get that out there before the whiners show up.
It seems like a lazy chop job, though. It shouldn't be full price for less content and less actual work. The only way I'd buy a dedicated Guitar Hero game done like that for that price is it if was the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Guitar Hero: Metallica is coming out next year. There's one I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole.

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith is okay...I like Aerosmith and all, but it's just...I dunno, it's missing something.
As for other bands that I'd like to have a guitar hero game...AFI.

Just put every song from Wishbone Ash to New England on there and I'd be in GH heaven. Nothing, no band would ever come into even the league below it.
Led Zeppelin should of gotten this before Aerosmith did.

Guitar Hero: World Tour seems to be the one to look for since they actually are attempting to compete with Rock Band with that title. The rest of this seems to be an overpriced expansion pack.

I've got a friend who's really in to Aerosmith, and this game is his dream come true. I can't say I care about it myself, but if it's the first in a line of band-specific releases then I might be interested in another one somewhere down the line. A Beatles installment would be fantastic.
