Bartz hangs around with 3 pretty girls for most of the game.
It's an old EOFF in-joke about some people claiming Bartz is a pimp because of his all-female crew and others getting upset about it because they didn't like the idea of Bartz being a pimp.

I always renamed him Bartz because Butz was uncomfortable and silly.
I always made him Butz on anthology because I thought it was funny when I played through on a rom. The original klulu is far better than Krile or Cara for the girl though.
