Another Video Editing Software thread

Whenever I chop up an AVI with AVIDEMUX and try to play the pieces on my PS3, it says the data is corrupted. I have no idea what else I can say about that. xP I'd like to try another program. All I want to do is basically crop a few videos (as in, take one scene from a longer video and play it on my PS3). Ease of use is a big factor. :P I'm not really interested in doing a lot of intricate video editing.

try virtualdub/virtualdubmod maybe I can only guess when avidemux is chopping the video, it is literally chopping it and not bothering to reindex what's left so it confuses some applications and not others

Alright, I'll try and get my hands on Virtualdub and try it out later. xP
