Yeah I was wondering that thing about the (SPOILER)BOATS too, but I guess we'll never know. It would've been more twisted that way but the point was the people on the boat didn't want to do it like the Joker thought they would.

Oh, and the trailers clearly mentioned Harvey Dent being in the movie.
