Liverpool deserved that. After the first ten or twenty minutes, we were utter crap throughout. Don't know what went wrong - too many options such as "Rooney on wing" or "Carrick sent off" but regardless of any of that, we were crap. Really crap. Berbatov and Tevez saw so little of the ball it was terrible. The amount of time the ball was either being headed (anywhere) or booted (to the other team) rather than passed was insane, and the passing when we did have it wasn't up to our usual standard.
Bow before the mighty Javoo!
Man Utd lost because Carlos Tevez has a monobrow and any organisation that endorses a person with a monobrow is destined to fail because monobrows are the worst evil on this planet and to support and even fund someone with a monobrow is a crime against humanity and YOU WILL PAY
What I like about this game from a footballing point of view was that it was probably our best performance of the season, and it was done without Torres and (mostly) Gerrard. And Riera looks good too.
hahahahahhahahahaha. We're such a joke. :kaocry2:
There is nothing to be ashamed of in falling to the Mighty Hull. It is only the natural order of things, Frank my old friend.
Well done plucky Newcastle for putting up a decent fight and only losing 2-1 to Hull. I really expected them to knock 4 or 5 past you. You can be proud of this result, Frank.
We looked pretty good today. Adebayor will have gone some way towards winning back the fans with that hat-trick, and Denilson looked improved enough to suggest that he isn't out of his depth in the first team after all. Blackburn worried us a bit early on though, and if they'd taken their chances it could have been a different game.
So much. Just rename yourselves Schadenfreude FC already.Originally Posted by Jess

Sometimes I wonder what my life would be like if I were as great as Paulo Wanchope.
I'll reserve whether or not to laugh at Newcastle until tomorrow when Everton probably decide to play terribly and lose against Stoke. If, however, we decide to play properly tomorrow, I'll laugh at Newcastle then.
Also for the second week running: smurf Manchester City for messing with my Fantasy Football team. Why the hell aren't Elano and Petrov playing? They got me megapoints last season and Elano is my captain. Sort this out immediately, Dan.
Not my words Carol, the words of Top Gear magazine.
I thought Petrov was injured, no idea about Elano though.
Watch out, we have Hull at home in two weeks, and I'm taking nothing for granted
Good performance today, now we have two more away games at Kiev and Bolton to come and we need to prove ourselves in those. Can't afford to be dropping points at this stage, or to start the European Cup off on a bad note. I still wish I knew if that Fulham game was an aberration, a harbinger of things to come or just evidence of how rubbish we are without Fabregas.
"Excuse me Miss, do you like pineapple?"
After watching highlights of yesterday's game, I have to wonder how we've managed to keep three clean sheets out of four so far when our defence looks about as solid as a wall of tissue paper at times. It needs to be tightened up, to borrow an American sports phrase, defence often wins championships.
"Excuse me Miss, do you like pineapple?"
Now now, you're being too hard on yourself. Arsenal are easily good enough to win the Championship. They might have to grind out results at Molyneux and the Ricoh Arena, but I think they could get the job done.
