I'll gladly support St. Helens properly (as opposed to passively saying that I do and then paying no attention to rugby) if you support Everton. Also if you slap David Moyes and make him buy players.
SWP is terrible because 1. he didn't come to Everton and 2. he completely crocked up Elano's place in my Fantasy Football squad.

Was a pretty random game though, and there were some absolutely awful decisions by the referee. I don't think he quite understands what a foul is supposed to be, Sunderland got screwed over a couple of times. And the Andy Reid dicking Kompany and Corluka and getting away with it was terrible as well, crap ref.

Yeah, must admit that aside from the FF comment, I think SWP is great and am genuinely disappointed we didn't get him. Not that I think we were ever seriously in for him aside from papertalk, but whatever. Elano, Petrov and SWP in midfield is pretty damn nice, I must admit.

A very small part of me hoped that SWP would suck at City to teach him a lesson about not joining Evil Russian Corporations, but pretty much any ill feeling has been squashed now. Maybe if he's back on form again he'll move ahead of David Bentley in the England pecking order. Please?

City would be evil only in the sense that they'd be top four contenders, which makes you evil in the eyes of the rest of the league by default. Yeah, smurf you Martin O'Neil. Anyway, a lot of attention is already on the signing of SWP, and even more will be on Berbatov if they pull it off, but you know, in Jo and Kompany they've made a pair of very, very solid signings.
Dimitar Berbatov is by a fair margin the most evil man in the league. If I were casting a film, I can't imagine a more perfect fit for the calculating, black-hearted Eastern European crime boss. Yes I judge people by their appearences, what of it?
