Yeah, my head hurts after staring at the DS all day. Probably gonna grind everyone up to at least 40 before the third attempt. Are you using augments at all, or just letting them pile up?

Not even going to touch augments. Trying to keep the game as true as possible. I think that they shouldn't be in the game, but at least they're avoidable. It's not like in the III remake where some of the changes were permanent and unavoidable.
Maybe in a New Game Plus I'll use them. This time around, no.
Yeah, I'm skipping them too. I guess they soften the difficulty a bit, but I want a challenge.
Hah, Lugae's kinda easy if you take something into consideration:
(SPOILER)Reverse Beam makes healing effects damage, and damaging effects healing. Therefore chucking an elixir at him is the equivalent of throwing water at the Wicked Witch, if you catch my drift.![]()

Hm. If only I would've had some at the time.
Wow, grinding is difficult on the moon. I think that you actually may get more EXP with easier enemies in the Sealed Cave.
Bah, you'll have it finished tonight.
Clearing the Tower again to get to Rubicante.
It's an amazing remake, it's like a brand new experience yet still retains all the beauty that FFIV was.
I finished the Tower of Zot last night, but I accidentillay knocked my DS and it crashed
Have to restart the Tower again, but oh well.

The added story content is amazing. I won't go into detail, because even with spoiler tags it's better that you see it for yourself. I'll just say that if fills a few plotholes and gives nice information regarding the overall story that couldn't have been in the SNES becuase of memory restrictions.
One-shotted Rubicante, now for the goddamn Sylph cave. :aimcry:
This may be the game that convinces me to get a DS.
This is definitely a great game. I am just about heading up the Tower Of Babil, and I must admit, I have thoroughly enjoyed this entire game. I cannot complain at all.
Leviathan's hard.
I'm currently broke and jobless at the moment so it will be awhile before I can play this but a friend of mine showed me the opening of the game and a bit of the cave where you get Tellah for the first time. I must say, seeing the game in action is breathtaking to say the least. I hope to be playing it soon cause I've been anticipating it since it was first announced.
True beauty exists in things that last only for a moment.
Current Mood: And it's been a long December and there's reason to believe. Maybe this year will be better than the last. I can't remember all the times I tried to tell myself. To hold on to these moments as they pass...
I totally love the game so far, but what's the deal with the limited battle background changes? This isn't terrible except when your fighting the fish in the waterway...they are swimming in mid-air! Am I missing something? Also, the background's not different when your walking on shoreline.
Although, that doesn't take away from how awesome everything else is![]()
You spoony bard!
Buying this tomorrow. I'm pretty excited.![]()
Boy am I an unfunny ass.
