    Best. Episode. Ever.

Also, the crazy Yuki bitch that follows around Debora is quickly becoming awesome.

I tried watching the show a few times, but I could never really get into it. But I buckled down and I was determined to give it a chance. It's a show that's a little difficult to like right away, but like someone else said, it really grows on you. To the point where I look back on the first season and I think, "wow, that was really fantastic" even though I wasn't thinking that as I was watching it.

Third season isn't really doing anything for me anymore. I know it's just started but I feel like they've exhausted a lot of the really intriguing storylines already. It's starting to get formulaic. And Dexter is starting to be a little too normal. I liked it better when he was this completely detached sociopath. But now his conscience seems to be getting bigger and bigger and he's becoming more sociable with every episode.

I'm enjoying the mental adventure that is Dexter's mind, though. I love seeing him adapt to new situations (like when meeting Prado in the latest episode, for example). Although I agree that there is a limit to how far his "humanity", "normality" or morals can be taken before the show becomes dull, it wouldn't be any fun without change and character development.

Yeah he is, but how many serial killers do you see that are actually attractive?

I think I'm beginning to like Prada more than Doakes, which I didn't think would be possible. I wonder what Dexter and Prada's new "bond" will affect.

(SPOILER)Also, wtf @ Rita. When she came to Dexter in eppy 2 she was like, "I would be stupid to have this baby" or something. And then she was all, "But I'm keeping it". He/She is probably gonna be a little serial killer...they start off killing small rodents and stuff.

omfg next week is going to be good ... I can feeeeeeeeeel it.

Also, I went on wikipedia and there were new episode summaries, and I couldn't resist and skimmed as fast as I could over them and it seems:

(SPOILER)Miguel joins forces with Dexter on the whole killing bad people thing, but also begins to vie for Rita's affections.

Ahaha this week's episode has left me wanting next week NOW. The teaser for the next episode fooled me at first though: (SPOILER)I thought Prado was sending the police after Dexter, as in Prado setting Dexter up. I looked again and noticed he was sending them after the other soon-to-be victim, presumably as a part of the plan.

Then again, I doubt the "partnership" will be long lasting. Prado has not yet seen Dexter's rituals or his bloodlust. That might turn him off like it turned Harry off.

I think they finally blew open this season of Dexter and my mouth has begun to water for more.

I'm enjoying the current plot developments: (SPOILER)
-Conflict with Ramon and the Miami Metro PD
-Deb seems like she could end up with this Anton guy
-The emergence of another serial killer out there aka The Skinner
    -Dexter and Miguel's evolving relationship
-The weird/trippy flashbacks Dexter has from time to time that involve Harry
-Cha cha cha changes! (I love when they played some classic Bowie)

I also found that mini-plot with Masuka quite endearing and of course comical. It goes to show that the little guys still matter.

Also I miss Captain Matthews. They haven't showed him once and it doesn't seem like he's going to show up at all this season! It doesn't seem like LaGuerta has been playing much of a significant role either.

Overall it was a pretty solid season. This season seemed more of an internal journey for Dexter, and maybe even an "emotional" one if you want to call it that. There were lots of developments and they left a few things cliffhanging for next season.

I was a little disappointed with the season finale. It didn't have that "Holy <img src="http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gif" alt="skull" /><img src="http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gif" alt="skull" /><img src="http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gif" alt="skull" /><img src="http://forums.eyesonff.com/images/smilies/rpg_009.gif" alt="skull" />!" moment that you would usually expect out of a season finale episode. Perhaps I was expecting too much but now I'm not going to be able to wait another year for Season 4!

I've not seen the entire season (I sort of lost track around one third of the way through), but the Dexter season finales are like that I've noticed. I mean, last year's finale was pretty predictable to me (SPOILER)except maybe when Lila kidnapped Aster and Cody ...
