    Default RPG Maker

I see there's a new version out. Which leads me to a question, which RPG Maker is better? Know of any good resource place? I want chipsets plz.

I've got some projects on RPG Maker 2000 that I'd like to continue, so is it possible to port them over to XP or VX?

XP is the optimal choice for all projects.

VX sorta feels like both an upgrade and a downgrade at the same time.

You could probably port it over to VX with most ease =]

I now only own VX and XP btw.

VX is nice. I enjoy the rather simpler and more user friendly looking interface. I dislike the lack of changing a few things like terrain and backgrounds. Although I do enjoy the increased chip set size.

I hear the upgrades don't make up for the severe resource restrictions they've imposed.

I suggest learning something like C++, but RPG Maker XP (from what I remember) had Ruby scripting which made it pretty flexible.
