The director of the game Koji Sugimoto, went on to program for Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2, I'm not sure what he's doing now.

The producer, Hiromichi Tanaka, produced Final Fantasy XI and is working on the Rapture mmorpg now, probably again as producer.

I don't know if they'll release a sequel to this game. Try to start up fan fiction or something?
