now I know where they spent most of there time and money...
on the DS.
A new scan if anyone's interested.
I don't know what to think of this game really. I'm glad I have an opportunity to play it but from the looks of it it seems like a card battling game set in a.....god forbid....Japanese High school. I know all the Japanophile's out there will be happy but I can't stand this sort of thing. Reason why I couldn't get into Persona 3.
I don't think that was the setting of the store. One of the characters uses cards, but the other characters use different weapons.
Recently beaten: Alundra 1, Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core
Currently playing: Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift, Final Fantasy I
Will play next: The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Mass Effect, Fallout 3(???)

Appearently not good for Square-Enix if there not making enought profit off thoses games, since it's the Japan Team who's makes DS game (Unless you prove me wrong on some games), and there profits barely pays the dept.
It won't be good for anyone if they close business by focusing there efforts in less profitable portables rather than concentrating in making console games like the PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii and even PlayStation 2 (Espescially PlayStation and Nintendo since it's where there true fans are)
Blindlingly Making Games for the 360 where there are no true fans of Square-Enix (Except for a few tiny exception who didn't own a Xbox), may result in failure, making a game just because of the install base is truly no excuse to choose the Xbox 360 (No, really, there are more Wiis sold in the US than the Xbox 360)
Well, at least there's War of The Lions ...The game is set in a magic school named Akademeia

If Square-Enix is actually Multi-Platforming for the first time since the PlayStation 1, then why not give PSP owners more great games like Chrono Trigger?
That's sucks for me, I bought myself a PlayStation 3 thinking that there would be a strong Square-Enix support (aka: great games applenty), but Square-Enix has yet to release any game of any kind to the PlayStation 3. Why?
Why multi-platform a new Final Fantasy?
If anyone can explain to me Square-Enix's marketing strategy, I'd like to know.
If it makes sense, I may as well give you bragging rights that you'd be smarter than me, if only for a while.
Having Final Fantasy XIII Agito to PSP is great, but didn't Square-Enix said something like "To accomodate the most of our fans."?
Then I want Chrono Trigger Enhanced graphics for the PSP!
I don't see how you can be disappointed with what Square is offering the PSP. They are probably the PSP's greatest asset at the moment. Plus they are giving it alot of original content, the DS is more of a port machine. Is a straight port of Chrono Trigger that exciting?
And the reason it may seem they are snubbing the PS3 is because they are trying to make all companies neutral. Because Sony has two consoles on the market and Microsoft only one they are going to offer the 360 more exclusives than the PS3 but making up for the lack of PS3 support by offering more PSP titles. Look at who they are giving more content to, Sony is undoubtably getting more support. But really Nintendo are getting shafted the most, just look at their Wii support.
You just said it.
The Wii gets all and the most support while the PS3 only has 3 games, two was exclusif, one who was exclusif to the PS3 will be release first on the 360, with no annoucements of any futuristic PS3 games except for new Final Fantasy that we only assume that we would have.
I know you don't own a PS3, so you don't know how we would feel about this.
No one should ever take away Final Fantasy numbered series after seven from PlayStation.
PlayStation is the Global success of Final Fantasy since FFVII, there's no denying that.
It's all about money...

Hyperion, please don't go waving around your "facts" without some more substantial proof and sourcing. From what I can tell, you're just basing your opinion off hearsay. Also, never assume.
And for the record, just because someone doesn't own a PS3 doesn't mean they don't know how you feel (I was sure Dreddz owns one anyway). Puh'lease, go cry in a corner, it's not a big deal at all.
Well for one I do own a PS3 and a 360. And I do know what you must be going through but I think you really need to grow up. You want more games from Square right? Then you should understand the financial aspect of creating these titles. Square need the money so making their games multiplatform is going to give them a lot more of it, which they can use to make even more games. And they will always support the PS3 unless the 360 makes a huge turn around in Japan, which its safe to say it won't.
The issues I have with FFXIII going to 360 differ from yours, for one it delays a game which seemed like it was never going to come out in our lifetime anyway and it makes the two consoles even more similar. I would of liked FFXIII to be one of the key games for the PS3 and the same with Bioshock to the 360. But alas, I can't have it my way and now I feel very depressed as a multi-console owner.
Bottom line though is that you should support the games, not the console.
Right, because I purchased a PlayStation 3 for Square-Enix games, it is a big deal.
All my above Facts are real 'perharps except it's about the money' the rest is true.
Is it just natural for me to express my disappointment towards the fact that Square-Enix did not list any kind of new games for the PlayStation 3 this year?
Especially when they Announced Star Ocean for the Xbox 360 instead of the PS3, a game that was um... PS2?
It's seems too obvious for me that it would like the PS3 to fail.
This isn't the case of not supporting the game.
All I said was...
I want Chrono Trigger on the PSP!

What the hell are you talking about? Do you really think Squenix would keep making DS games if they weren't profitable?
Yeah, taking a game that's already made and sticking it on another platform for everyone to buy another copy of is just financial suicide. Logic isn't your strong suit, is it?It won't be good for anyone if they close business by focusing there efforts in less profitable portables rather than concentrating in making console games like the PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii and even PlayStation 2 (Espescially PlayStation and Nintendo since it's where there true fans are)
What makes you think there are no Squenix fans with 360s? Lots of people with PS2s went out and bought Xboxes this generation. Not everyone is a screaming fanboy.Blindlingly Making Games for the 360 where there are no true fans of Square-Enix (Except for a few tiny exception who didn't own a Xbox), may result in failure, making a game just because of the install base is truly no excuse to choose the Xbox 360 (No, really, there are more Wiis sold in the US than the Xbox 360)
Chrono Trigger is the only Squenix port for DS I can think of. Squenix is putting original content on the DS, too. Final Fantasy Tactics A2, Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings, The World Ends With You, remakes of Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest games, Chocobo's Dungeon (I believe), some Dragon Quest spinoffs I can't remember (:P) and so on.
The Wii has Chocobo's Dungeon, a Dragon Quest spinoff, and a Crystal Chronicles WiiWare game. It's not getting the most support. (Obviously, it's not getting none at all, either.
You're constantly hauling BS out of your ass in every thread. Stop it.Right, because I purchased a PlayStation 3 for Square-Enix games, it is a big deal.
All my above Facts are real 'perharps except it's about the money' the rest is true.
And they announced Final Fantasy VII for PS1 instead of the N64, a game that was um... SNES?Especially when they Announced Star Ocean for the Xbox 360 instead of the PS3, a game that was um... PS2?
Well that's because you're a paranoid fanboy. It's seems too obvious for me that it would like the PS3 to fail.
