I liked Chocobo breeding in FF7. Dont know why, probably because I was 13 and had nothing better to do.

For me, it would be a hodge podge. Bosses and the main villains from every previous installment would be brought together by a mysterious force that is attempting to bring all the worlds before it together to cause chaos. Two or 3 characters from each previous game would be sent through a rift to stop this, along with 2 or 3 new playable characters, and give you a large # of playable characters. Cloud and Tifa for example. The world map would be an amalgamation of the world maps from every previous game, until the final area which is all new where you encounter the force that is trying to bring all this destruction about.

Granted, Square probably wont do this, but I think it would a great side project(like Kingdom Hearts).

Final Fantasy XI? Yea it was great! Too bad I stopped playing and it's too late to go back now, I'm playing The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and Starcraft 2 is coming out later. These games are hundreds of hours of playtime for me. !!!

I'll make things right when Final Fantasy Haeresis XIII/Rapture comes out though! !!!
Recently beaten: Alundra 1, Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core
Currently playing: Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift, Final Fantasy I
Will play next: The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Mass Effect, Fallout 3(???)

    Where's FFXIV?
I don't think that FFVII is Futuristic, and neither is FFVIII (Except Esthar)
btw: don't you think FFXIII looks like Esthar's Cars?

You can certainly count on DragonSoul for his in-depth analysis.

Probably also forgetting how FFI's wind shrine had you fighting robots operating computers.

Part of the fallacy is the fact that the idea of "progress" is so embedded in American and Western zeitgeist that anytime you see a machine in an RPG it means it's "futuristic". Society moves in different directions in different eras, and FF has always been exemplary of that.

I would actually like to see a game where all the FF directors contribute to different aspects, maybe different story archs or places, one each with Kitase & Ito, Tanaka, and Matsuno. Like this really done up, huge supergroup monumental FF. All the main artists like Nomura, Minaba, and T2. And like other FF's, have it different places - the technologically advanced civilization, a part where you make your way through barbarian territory, some villages, castles and such. Of course I'd like it to stay with the main theme, apocalyptic fiction, and an unseen villain, plenty of plot twists. That's about it.

    And DEFINATELY Chocobo breeding.

Theres no disputing that fact they all come under the "Fantasy" catagore.... hence the name "Final Fantasy " - But any number of things could become apparent in FF XV if they get that far. some of the action from Dirge of Cerberus was used in XIII so maybe we can see more of previous FF's
Yes i do thank the person that made my sig all them months ago...just let me know who you are Luv ya x x
