While I think stories are completely unnecessary past an excuse for doing whatever the hell you're supposed to be doing in a game, I'd rather stay out of mumorpuguhs for a couple of reasons. First, the giant timesinks and I don't want my life revolving around them. xP Second, I'd have to play online with strangers and every time I do that, I lose more faith in humanity.
