I guess there's a few outside circumstances though. My vigilante claim in Video Game Character mafia was pretty much to take control of the town and make myself leader. Attempts to do so verbally the previous day were met with me nearly being lynched, so damnit I had to control them with violence! That and of course it would be obvious when I started shooting people in broad daylight that something was up, so I figured I should let them know in advance.
