Wow this is terribly shocking news. He was an American soul and funk singer-songwriter, musician, record producer, arranger, composer and actor. He won won Grammy awards and an Oscar for the theme from the action film "Shaft,". He provided the voice of "Chef" for Comedy Central's raunchy animated series "South Park," as well as numerous songs. RIP Isaac.
