it's not fun, don't do it
2LDK
You must see this movie. The entire film takes place within a single apartment building (2 bedrooms, a "L"iving room, "D"ining room, "K"itchen) which is shared by two television actresses, one successful and one trying to break onto the scene. However, when they both try out for the same role, they slowly descend from friendly competition to wielding chainsaws and katanas in attempts to kill the other.
The best part, though, is how it came into existence. Two directors and a producer were getting drunk at a bar when the producer dared them each to create a short film (both are seventy minutes) that all takes place in one setting, using only two actors who must duel. I have not seen the second film, but I've read it is about two samurai who duel in a religious temple.
Topic: 2LDK/Duel Project discussion and/or other films that came to be in interesting ways or employ similar or uncommon film and directorial techniques.
EDIT: Another rule issued by the producer was that both directors had to complete their films over the course of a single week.
