Put a bees nest in it, then seal it. Make it look interesting before placing it in the open. Wait in some bushes, then laugh as they swarm at the silly fool who opened it.
NOTE: Don't open the box yourself
Make yourself a suit of body armor.
Pretend it's really heavy and ask for help and laugh when they throw it.
