Why is the Steel/Knight's Armor so expensive?

Have you never thought of detouring to Crescent Lake after you gain access through the canal to get Silver Armour? Its 7500 gold...pretty decent. Can last you through the Earth Cave, by then you should be able to afford Steel Armour.:mog:

I always pick up what magic and equips I can from Crescent Lake before entering the Earth Cave.

Grind for exp, and guess what? you end up rich in no time. If you rush through the game you're not only going to die a lot, but you're going to be downright poor.

Take an hour+ outside each new town or area to just walk back and forth and grind on mobs.

Actually, grind for just enough gold to buy everything you need and you'll never have to worry about levels. It's worked for every single RPG ever, so far

Anything that is considered the best of something or another that is at one point in the game useful will likely be overpriced to an extreme.
