What game will you remake? Why?
Devil May Cry 4, because it has issues despite loving it myself, big issues.
What would you do to build on the original?
Add in more depth to Gloria, have a fight involving her and Nero at some point. Gloria as a playable character... paving her way differently through the game and touching on paths that the other two do not.
(SPOILER)She eventually meets up with Dante, at which point she transforms into Trish, changing her style of play... Instead of backtracking she'll shortcut it straight back to the City and have various missions she has to complete within it(The other parts of the city ovcourse... it's a pretty large city
What would you do that would be significantly different?
Remove/nerf what ruined DMC4. Pandora and Lucifer will be completely revised to keep the game hard. Harder Puzzles for Dante to keep backtracking fun
Erase that pointless third amount of boss fights, it's random and unwanted after killing them all a second time. Instead make a challenging stage involving the interior of the statue, which could be anything really...
