questions about resident evil directors cut(spoilers)

ok so I got done beating it again(after like 6 years), and I got a few questions about the ending

1. It said I was supposed to save rebecca and see her after Tyrant fight #1, but I never saw her...just me and jill running around

2. I thought I was supposed to fight Tyrant a second time before the helicopter took off...all I saw was his shadow while the copter took off and nothing else...I was sad

so what happened with these 2 events?
