EDIT: Maybe because so many people are breeding or there are so many abandoned eggs, but none of the 8 or so breedings I performed yielded any eggs.

gold, alts and neglected are probably the rarest

silvers, paper, dinos, and chickens are pretty rare but a lot more common than golds (they just go fast)
