So as we last left our heroes they were pimping out their ride or some such. We then headed into a rather boring cave except for the fact that the walls and doors were really monsters trying to eat us! I didn't take any pics because I was lazy and nothing really caught my interest for being humorous. So just imagine something funny and pretend I said it.

    Anyways we continue on!

And it's time for a new ride!

Golbez needed EIGHT crystals to get to the moon, we only need 1. I'm feeling so pimp right now.

We go to the moon and wander around in the vacuum of space perfectly fine. We eventually go into the only structure on the entirety of the moon where we meet a man inside there....a mysterious old man...

Oh hay it's qwerty! So I renamed FuSoYa qwerty for one simple reason....so I could get away with showing this video.

Anyways we explore the moon a little more and find this.

Words can't begin to explain how scary a scene this is.

We eventually find another cave and inside it we meet a familiar face.

    Truly horrifying.

Anyways we decide to leave the moon and ends up back on good 'ole Earth a giant robot is menacing some mountains. Time for us to step in!

Really you had to shout 'Scream!' you couldn't just actually scream?

This line makes me laugh in more ways then one.

So anyways we go inside and blow up the giants brain or heart or something like that. qwerty reveals some big bombs to us then leaves with Golbez leaving us with Lancea once again. Off to the moon once again to stop evil moonmen!

    This space intentionally left blank.

This thread takes forever to load. I wish there was a post cut option like there is for lj-cut.

Lugae was a tricky bastard but I was able to dispatch him (after...4 tries ). Right now I am climbing the tower again, this time with a ninja instead of a monk.

Rubicante does not look like he will be easy.

Maybe it would be a good idea to make seperate threads for each picture walkthrough. Kind of like what Maxx did with his Plays FF3.

It's almost the end of the month which means it's almost time for me to play. This game can be beaten in a 24 hour playthrough.

Might be an idea if any mod can be bothered to split the posts!

And on that note, more pictures!

The person in charge of the Summon's library clearly isn't happy with the amount of books on offer.

Edge proves that he isn't Admiral Ackbar.

Cain: "Being a bastard, that's what!"

Golbeze hopes to go down in history with Kefka, Heideggar and Scarlet as having an interesting laugh.

Seems the guy who named the Land of Summon's library also named the Lunar Whale.

Say what you want about Lugae and his questionable ethics, he's made some fantastic Christmas lights.

For the race that has everything, an apocalypse device!

KluYa spoke of giving you wings, gills, horns and tails. KluYa was... Dr. Lugae!

Sadly not, but that would've been a cracking plot twist.

Trivia: Cid now provides backing vocals for The Black Mages.

And then he proves why he should be leader of the party instead of Cecil.

Cecil: "Hey guys, I hope you didn't take that whole killing you thing too seriously. We're still pals right?"

Golbeze avoids jail time by pleading the Edea defence.

And then he left Cain a post-it note on the fridge in the Tower of Zot to tell Cain that such a defence works and should be used.

Cecil: "Yeah, I was fine with you coming along until Edge sold me on this idea of it just being us three guys. He made a strong case!"

"Also wear this delightful schoolgirl outfit I found"

    Ahem.

I'm sure Rydia feels exactly the same way.

For some reason my SD card isn't working in my computer anymore so I can't download my pics. I'm trying to beat the Dark Elf at the moment, but I think I need to do some leveling first because he keeps killing off my party.

Rubicante was sadly a pushover. Oh well now I get to do side quests!

The Good Dr. Was one of the hardest fights in the game for me actually.

I always find Rubicante to be disappointingly easy. Easiest of the four fiends definitely.

Yeah, I was hoping for a difficulty boost in the DS version, like so many other bosses got.

Zeromous can be tricky if you don't figure out the stratagy to take him down early like I did.

But yes, I was hoping Rubicante would be harder as well. But oh well, the other hard bosses make up for one fight lacking.

Okay after a long ordeal ( sorry Leeza ) I finally managed to record the Scarmiglione fight! But, to my surprise ( not really ) I clicked "Finish Video" in WMM and it seems to have frozen up. Let's all pray that it works and now that I know what to do, the others should come a lot faster. ( And hopefully I'll play a lot more. )

I'll post the video on YouTube and the screenshots here, as well as a link to the video if anyone is interested.

I'm getting a little ahead of the game here, but I say we do an Eyes on Plays Chrono Trigger after the DS Remake comes out, much like we did with FF IV.

    Just a thought.

Sorry about the poor image quality, but with no power there was very little backlighting and the flash bleached out the screen. I decided to name my characters after characters in FFVI in roughly the order you meet them in FFVI. I thought that maybe the odd combination of names in conversations would lead to mildly humorous screens, but I was mistaken.

    The journey begins.

I thought I would be smart by hiding the Bomb Ring in the Giant Chocobo before going through the mist cave. The Giant Chocobo was smarter.

Something's wrong with Rosa? I'll fix her!
