Dogs sleep anywhere
On the table, on the chair
Wake them if you dare
First haiku I ever wrote. Still have the piece of paper from school with one of those generic "well done" stickers on it lying around somewhere.

Here is a set of four that I wrote up
Flowers falling down
Caught in the winds calm embrace
Over a mute lake.
The willows weep green
The flower weeps in deep pink
The heart in blood red.
From the eye above
To the smile far down below
Serenity’s love.
With natures balance
Just like that of Yin and Yang
Beauty comes of two.
Rune Hauge
Norwegian agent
for the great sport of football.
He is quite obscure.
Wolfgang Cutler
Character in Oz,
Quite the douchebag, I have heard.
Damned Aryan Union.
Reignac-sur-Indre
Small commune in central france
Nothing else to say
Such a manly man
Ernest William Lyons Holt
The man loved his fish!
1999
June Bremen state election
Dr. Scherf wins it.

The messenger is standing at the gate
Ready to let go
Ready for the crush
Too late for whispers
Too late for the blush
The past is mercy
When the future is aglow
Highly lolable
Pitiful little demon
Never gets a break
Aren't haiku supposed to be about nature?
The forest stands tall,
but it won't be there for long,
arson is coming.
Delicious tuna,
I could eat it every day,
wait, this is dolphin.
Ack! A bear attack!
No, you can't have my sandwich!
Where is my bear spray? ;_;
[q=Bowser]Like the moon over
the day, my genius and brawn
are lost on these fools.[/q]
Seven syllables.
Before that, five syllables.
Also, after that.
R. "Ringo" Starkey
Not a very good drummer
But he got lucky

Haikus are too tough
The syllable count is odd
and my brain hurts lots!
