The Crystal shed its light silently...
Final Fantasy Legend of the Crystals is based directly on FF V. FF: U is just some random shenanigans they threw together.
As far as the series goes....it's alright. Could have been a lot better, there's not really much character development, and it could have made better use then the simple episode formula used for 95% of all the episodes.
Group gets lost, group meets random things and happenings, group runs into enemy/monster, group meets up with Kaze, Kaze one shots it with a summon, episode ends.
The series had a good premise, but was very poorly executed.

I saw the first ... five episodes? Never felt like returning to it to suffer through the rest
I love FF:U I always look at it in our local FYE...but they never have it
The Summon sequences ruin it for me. Still liked alot of the scenery and ideas though =]
