Christmas Day is an odd day to release a game but maybe I just don't understand Japanese culture. Glad to see a release date, but Level 5 games are notorious for their lengthily translation times. I wouldn't expect this to leave Japan until late next year.
This really picked my curiosity...Ha: I see. It's exciting to hear that everything is moving forward nicely. BTW, at the beginning of the interview, you mentioned an aspect outside of an epic scale RPG, but what is that about...?
Hi: I think how gamers play RPGs have changed over time. There are many different games out there now, so it's no longer just an era where people just enjoy the storyline.
Ha: Things have indeed changed.
Hi: Because of that, we wanted to include an aspect that everyone would be able to look forward to, beyond the concept of just playing an RPG. While WKC is an epic RPG, games also have a new function, which is contained in this new aspect.
Ha: So that means, instead of a game where you just blindly play to move forward, there's another, completely different face to this game?
Hi: That's exactly it. WKC has a lot of different aspects to it, and has playstyles which have never even existed conceptually in existing RPG's. I can't go into much detail atm, but WKC is not just about enjoying the adventure.
Ha: When you say it's not just about enjoying the story...
Hi: Unfortunately, I can't reveal the details just yet, but we're added this aspect which is only possible on the PS3.
This is why I love Level 5. They are not like Square or Namco and just try to pump out generic RPG's over and over, too scared to go beyond the standard formula. I really hope WKC does well so it can put some sense into other RPG developers.
Hopefully, this game won't take too long to be translated. I really can't wait to play this game.
Only available for the PS3? Thanks, that makes me feel so special.
That's alright though, I was low on cash anyway.
EDIT: Wait, was this a PS3 exclusive? Dang...
Apparently Level 5 is going to be revealing some shocking news on the 26th of this month. I would definitely not get your hopes up but I think its likely to be Dark Cloud 3 or some new IP. Either would be awesome but Dark Cloud 3 would be especially awesome.

Hopefully the announcement is that they've decided to not bend to the whim of an unpleasable fanbase and have turned DQIX into an action RPG again.
As for WKC, the game looked awesome when they showed the first gameplay video back in 2006. No video since has made it look anywhere near as good.
Some new propaganda:
RPGamer > White Knight > Propaganda
Wow this game has finally reared its head again. It was completely off the radar for a LOOOOOOONG time.
I wouldnt expect the story to be good mind you, but im hoping the gameplay is good.
It be really cool if the shocking news from Level-5 being they are going to become a Sony First Party studio. Sony really needs a first party studio that focuses on RPGs. But, I wouldn't be surprised if that doesn't come to pass.
Actually, Level 5 becoming a Sony first party company is very very likely. They have enjoyed a very close relationship with Sony for a long time, which should be obvious as most of their games have been published by them. And Level 5 always preach the name of Sony, even in the last interview they said they're happy doing business with them. Plus Sony are always the most keen to get new developers under its belt. Nintendo doesn't give a toss, especially when the Wii is doing so well. As for Microsoft, well there are rumors that Level 5 fell out with Microsoft last gen after Microsoft dropped support for one of their titles at the very last minute.
