In the newest Capcom vs.... series, Capcom is now going against Anime company Tatsunoko. Judging from the gameplay footage, I think it's gonna be a great game, and I hope it arrives in the U.S. soon!

Don't count on it. Licensing's a bitch.
It'll have to arrive in Japan first. I am also skeptical of seeing it ever arrive in the States. Capcom's been on the smurfing ball this gen though, so who knows. They might pull it off.
I won't believe they are on the ball until another good BoF comes out.
Though I do look forward to this, I'm more exited about Street Fighter IV.
I am VERY confident it will come out in the states as a demo version was shown in this year's Evolution 2008 tournament in Las Vegas. I would say almost 100% confident as it was shown along with BlazBlue(the new Guilty Gear entry), Street Fighter 4, and Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix.

Seth is a pretty well known guy who is very related closely to Capcom as well.
In any case its more like Marvel vs Capcom 1's (not 2) style of play with two characters. I read theres only 3 buttons but it has yet to be confirmed. So far Tekkaman, Samurai Pizza Cats, Megaman Legends, and the appearance of Alex(from SF3) is alot of reason for me to be hyped about this game, and finally a game to succeed MvC2.

Maybe I'm a bit late to the party with this one but those animations look really impressive. Although I really couldn't care less for the Tatsunoko characters. Aren't they all from 70's anime? Who still watches that stuff, seriously. It also looks all too similar to Marvel Vs Capcom and that kind of puts me off. People preach about those games way too much despite the horrific balancing issues those games had. They were probably Capcom's worst fighters because of it.
And I wish Capcom wouldn't toy with my heart by putting Batsu from Rival Schools in there. Just make a damn sequel already!

The SPC were not in the demo build but i think someone confirmed it that it was going to be in the final one. It IS a Wii exclusive though:

Dreddz >> I think Marvel is still the most heavily played game here in America, and still gets the most hype/participants out of all the fighting games out there even over Third Strike in all tournaments that have it. While i dont play either of those games(and not understand why 3S is so popular) i can see why many people would like Marvel. Even if you dont play you know whats going on and whos winning, and its exciting...everything is so borked that it evens itself out. At least thats how i see it.

I'm certain it will be a good game but I doubt it will do well Stateside except for hardcore gamers and people who actually know and love Tatsunoko (where's my playable Speed Racer btw?) as for MvC. I've always felt Capcom's Marvel brand has always been pretty unbalanced. MvC was probably the most balanced until MvC2 came out and reintroduced all the broken character from previous games (Magneto, Dr. Doom, Iceman ect.) and even through in a few new broken characters (Cable anyone?). Luckily this game is looking much more balanced.

Lol Xmen vs Street Fighter was by far the most balanced i think. But despite all that, its always entertaining to watch these types of games even if you arent into fighters.
But there is Speed Racer characters and i think thats been confirmed since Day 1...
I think this game could do well in North America for Capcom alone.
And I know I'd buy ten copies for the Samurai Pizza Cats. :P Holy crap.
